Participation declaration

Informed participation declaration and acknowledgement of risks associated with a demonstration activity involving prototype vehicles

Turin, October 7-9, 2026

Whereas:

  • STELLANTIS organizes a demonstration and dynamic testing activity using prototype vehicles equipped with advanced driver assistance technologies and/or automated driving systems that are under development, validation, experimentation or testing;
  • some of the technologies installed on the vehicles are developed or integrated with the support of Wayve Technologies Ltd. ("Wayve"), a technology partner of STELLANTIS;
  • participation in the activity described herein is voluntary;

the undersigned hereby declares as follows.

1. Acknowledgement of the nature of the activity

I declare that I have been informed that the activity in which I am participating consists of a demonstration and dynamic test carried out using prototype vehicles for development, experimentation, validation, research, testing and technology-demonstration purposes.

I further declare that I understand that the technologies installed on the vehicle may not correspond to the final configuration of any future products marketed by STELLANTIS.

2. Awareness of the vehicle characteristics

I acknowledge that, during the test and in accordance with the vehicle's technical capabilities and the applicable test procedures, the vehicle may perform automatic or assisted interventions, including, by way of example:

  • automatic braking;
  • automatic acceleration or deceleration;
  • steering interventions;
  • trajectory corrections;
  • lane changes;
  • other maneuvers required for the demonstration and validation activity.

I declare that I understand the nature of the activities described above and that I voluntarily agree to participate in them.

3. Compliance with safety instructions

I undertake:

  • to comply with all instructions issued by technical staff, safety personnel and the event organizers;
  • to wear the seat belt correctly and use any other protective equipment that may be required;
  • not to interfere in any way with the driving of the vehicle, the vehicle systems or the activities of the technical staff;
  • to maintain, throughout the test, conduct consistent with the safety requirements of the activity.

4. Declaration of fitness

I declare that I am in good health and in such physical and medical condition as to permit my participation in the test without undue risk.

5. Voluntary participation and assumption of ordinary risks

I declare that I am participating in the activity on an entirely voluntary basis.

I acknowledge and accept that the demonstration activity may involve risks and hazards associated with the experimental nature of the prototype vehicles and that such risks may also be caused by my actions, omissions or negligence, or by the condition of the vehicle or the location in which the test is conducted. I further declare that I fully assume and accept all risks identified above, as well as responsibility for losses, costs and damage arising out of and/or in connection with my participation in the demonstration and/or any activity associated with it and/or the prototype vehicle.

6. Limitation of claims

Without prejudice to mandatory provisions of law and applicable insurance coverage, I waive any right to raise complaints or bring claims for damages against STELLANTIS, Wayve, their respective parent companies, subsidiaries or affiliates, and their respective directors, employees, contractors, consultants, technicians and drivers (collectively, the "Released Parties") in respect of inconvenience, disruption, delays or consequences resulting from the risks associated with my voluntary participation in the activity described herein.

For the avoidance of doubt, this waiver does not apply to liability arising from wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or where a limitation or exclusion of liability is not permitted under applicable law.

7. No warranty regarding the technologies demonstrated

I acknowledge that participation in the event does not constitute any representation, promise or warranty regarding:

  • the final characteristics of the technologies demonstrated;
  • their future commercialization;
  • the future availability of specific features;
  • the obtaining of type approvals, authorizations or regulatory approvals.

8. Confidentiality and use of information

I undertake to comply with any instructions issued by the organizers concerning the confidentiality of technical, commercial, and industrial information that I may learn during the event.

If I have been, or am subsequently, provided with a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), I undertake to comply with its terms.

9. Audio-visual recordings, technical data and privacy

I acknowledge that photographs and audio or video recordings may be taken during the event and that technical and telemetry data relating to the operation of the vehicle and the conduct of the activity may be collected.

I declare that I have received the privacy notice prepared by the organizers in accordance with applicable personal-data protection legislation, attached hereto.

I further authorize the Released Parties, for any lawful purpose, to use any image depicting me, together with any other information relating to me that is connected or associated with my participation in the test drive (the "Images"), acquired or recorded through photographs and/or video recordings, by any means, in any format, with any device or on any medium, including by or with the assistance of third parties; and to record, reproduce, process, publish, communicate, print and otherwise use the Images through any communication channel owned, managed or lawfully used by the Released Parties, expressly including the Internet, social media and/or any other means of communication now existing or developed or invented in the future, worldwide and without time limitation. I also declare that I have not authorized or assigned to any third party the use of the Images or the related rights and, accordingly, agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any direct, indirect or consequential liability, proceedings, legal action, claim for damages or other cost or charge, expressly including legal fees, arising out of or in connection with the Images and their use by the Released Parties.

10. Final declaration

I declare:

  • I have carefully read this document;
  • I have understood the declarations set out above;
  • I have had the opportunity to ask questions of the organizers and have received explanations that I consider sufficient;
  • I have the necessary power and capacity to execute this document; I have signed it freely and voluntarily, without any promise, assurance or warranty of any kind having been made to me; and I intend my signature to constitute a full, final and binding expression of my consent to the terms of this document;
  • I freely and knowingly agree to participate in the activity covered by this document.

Annex 1 - Privacy notice

Purpose and methods of processing personal data

Personal data provided to Stellantis Europe S.p.A. (the "Company"), including the data subject's image and/or voice (the "Data"), will be processed for the following purpose:

(a) with the data subject's consent, to participate, voluntarily and entirely free of charge, in the Company's experimental and prototype vehicle testing initiative using the data subject's image and/or voice (the "Initiative").

The Data may be processed for the purpose described above by paper-based, automated or electronic means.

Consequences of failure to provide the data

Providing the Data is optional. However, failure to provide the Data will make participation in the Initiative impossible.

Other parties that may process the data

With the data subject's consent, the data subject's image and/or voice may be used by the Company for participation in the technical workstation-verification initiative and for the optimization and improvement of workstations. The Data may be processed by parties acting on behalf of the Company under specific contractual obligations, in EU or non-EU countries.

The Data may be disclosed to third parties in order to comply with legal obligations, comply with orders issued by public authorities, or exercise or defend a right of the Company in legal proceedings.

Transfer of data outside the European Economic Area (EEA)

In the context of the Company's contractual relationships, the Data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA), including by being entered into databases managed by third-party companies acting on behalf of the Company. The management of such databases and the processing of the Data are limited to the purposes for which the Data were collected and are carried out in full compliance with applicable personal-data protection legislation.

Whenever the Data are transferred outside the EEA, the Company will adopt all appropriate and necessary contractual measures to ensure an adequate level of protection for the Data, including, among other measures, agreements based on the standard contractual clauses for transfers of personal data outside the EEA approved by the European Commission.

Data controller and data protection officer team

The Data Controller is Stellantis Europe S.p.A., with registered office at Corso Giovanni Agnelli 200, 10135 Turin, Italy.

Data retention

The Data processed for the purposes of the Initiative will be retained by the Company for a period of one (1) year. However, the Company may retain the Data for a longer period where necessary to manage any disputes relating to the conduct of the Initiative.

Data subject's rights

The data subject has the following rights:

  • right of access, namely the right to obtain confirmation from the Company as to whether or not the Data are being processed and, where that is the case, to obtain access to the Data;
  • right to rectification and erasure, namely the right to obtain rectification of inaccurate Data and/or completion of incomplete Data, or erasure of the Data on legitimate grounds;
  • right to restriction of processing, namely the right to request suspension of processing where legitimate grounds exist;
  • right to data portability, namely the right to receive the Data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to transmit the Data to another data controller;
  • right to object, namely the right to object to the processing of the Data where legitimate grounds exist, including any processing for marketing and profiling purposes, where applicable;
  • right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority in the event of unlawful processing of the Data.
